“Ira is cynical without lacking empathy, experimental without lacking direction. A dark, ambitious new voice.” – Garret Cook (Author, Crisis Boy)

My work explores the relationship between Bauhausian sensibilities and copycat violence. With influences as diverse as Nietzsche and Roy Orbison, new tensions are distilled from both simple and complex meanings.
Ever since I was a pre-adolescent I have been fascinated by the ephemeral nature of relationships. What starts out as yearning soon becomes manipulated into a tragedy of distress, leaving only a sense of what could have been and the dawn of a new beginning.
As intermittent derivatives become clarified through boundaried and personal practice, the viewer is left with a hymn to the limits of our condition.
